I hold a Bachellor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad de Chile and I am finishing a Master’s in Economics at the same university. I am interested in conducting research in applied microeconomics in topics that are relevant both from a public and scientific perspective. I am a fifth-year PhD student at the University of Helsinki and the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics. I work on labor and public economics.
In my research, I use administrative data and quasi-experimental variation to study how labor market institutions and regulations affect labor market outcomes.
